Scope

This policy applies to:

• Board members and top management

• All staff, including: managers and supervisors; full-time, part-time or casual; temporary or permanent staff; job candidates; student placements; apprentices; contractors; subcontractors; and volunteers

Policy Statement

At BRASV Group we are committed to operating our commercial cleaning business in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner.
We recognize the importance of minimizing our ecological footprint while delivering high-quality cleaning services to our clients.

Our sustainability policy outlines our commitments and strategies to achieve our environmental goals as follows.

Resource Conservation

• We will strive to minimize water and energy consumption in our cleaning processes by using efficient cleaning equipment and practices.

• Our employees will be trained to use resources responsibly and to identify opportunities for conservation in their daily activities and bring their ideas to their BRASV Site Managers and supervisors.

Waste Reduction

• We will prioritize waste reduction by implementing practices and advising our clients on our recommendations for optimum recycling and proper waste management at their sites.

• Our procurement process will prioritize products and materials with minimal packaging and those made from recycled or sustainable materials.

Chemical Management

• We are committed to using environmentally friendly cleaning products that are non-toxic and biodegradable wherever possible.

• Our employees will be trained in the safe handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals to minimize environmental impact and ensure the health and safety of both employees, clients and the public.

Transportation Efficiency

• We will optimize our transportation routes and our deliveries to minimize fuel consumption and emissions and encourage the use of eco-friendly vehicles wherever practicable.

• Whenever feasible, we will explore alternative transportation options such as car pooling for commuting to client locations.

Continuous Improvement

• We will regularly review and update our sustainability practices to incorporate advancements in technology and best industry practices.

• Feedback from both clients and employees will be actively sought and considered to identify areas for improvement and innovation.

Client and Community Engagement

• We are committed to engaging with our clients’ local communities to promote environmental awareness and sustainability.

• We will actively promote, participate and support local initiatives aimed at environmental conservation and improvement.

Compliance and Regulation

• We will comply with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.

• Regular audits will be conducted to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for further improvement.

Education and Training

• We will provide ongoing education and training opportunities for our employees to raise awareness about sustainability and empower them to contribute to our environmental goals.

• Clients will be informed about our sustainability efforts and encouraged to participate in initiatives aimed at reducing their environmental impact.

Transparency and Reporting

• We will maintain transparency in our sustainability efforts by regularly communicating our progress and achievements to stakeholders, including clients and employees.

• We will provide regular waste reports to clients.
